Re: cut, copy, paste

The menu button of the onscreen keyboard (lowest button on the left side of the keyboard) has cut, copy, and paste.
If you're using a hardware keyboard, you could also use the shortcuts Ctrl-X, Ctrl-C, and Ctrl-V.
Some programs like the webbrowser or XTerm also have such items in their Edit menu.

Although difficult, it's possible to select text for copying in the browser by double clicking and then dragging.

Re: cut, copy, paste

In "Control Panel" -> "Panels" -> Applications "Organize" the DRAG-&-DROP method is more like HIT-&-MISS with regard to moving an application from one Folder to another Folder.

Sometimes it seems to work, sometimes it doesn't.

I find that the faster you work the more reliable it seems to be but it often takes two or three tries.

Anyone else have this trouble?

I had the same problem, and even reported it as a bug, until I realized that making sure the POINT of the stylus pointer was over the folder name my success rate went way up. I still think it shouldn't be so sensitive, bit practice makes (near) perfect.
