Bluetooth DUN with Nokia E60
 

Hi,

has anyone succeeded in using bluetooth DUN on a Nokia N8x0 OS2008 with the Nokia E60? I already tried with different network operators (T-Mobile Germany, E-Plus) but it always keeps saying me that the connection failed. Bluetooth DUN works though from my IBM laptop.

Any idea??

Have you set the pairing as "authorised" on the phone side?

In Connectivity->Bluetooth->Paired Devices, a padlock symbol should be shown next to the device (tablet) name.

Of course I did. With my old Nokia 6021 the bluetooth DUN works like a charm.

Sorry for reviving an old thread. But I have this same issue with my N810 and my E71. It is driving me nuts. I had a SE W910i I used for dialup, and it would work about 6/10 times. Got annoying, but it did work eventually.

I upgraded to a E71 and I have never got it to dial up ever.

My suspicion is that the E series wont do BT DUN without the Nokia PC Suit. If this proves to be true I will be mighty pissed.

I use my E70 with my n810 running the latest build of Diablo with no problems.
I am on AT&T and just used the Nokia wizard which setup the connection details without issue.
BT paired fine and dials up flawlessly.
