Mac Mini/Airport Express issues with 770
 

Does anyone know which firewall ports to open in mac os x that would allow the 770 to connect with a mac mini? the nokia folks are very pc-oriented and didn't have much to offer...

are you trying to access it through a network using VNC, or just by hooking it up through USB?

don't even know what vnc is! the airport express is connected via ethernet to my mac mini. is this what you're asking? sorry for the simplistic response -- maybe THIS is why i can't get connected!

In what way are you trying to connect the 770 to the Mini? Do you want to transfer files between the two? Or are you trying to get on the internet?

trying to get onto the internet, in particular to use 770 as my "remote" for accessing slimserver/squeezebox.

I think what you're looking for is Internet Sharing. It's in System Preferences. I started a thread about it here:
