My N800 Had Just Arrived!!! :D
 

Firstly, i am new to this forum now so i will start off by saying hi!

My nokia n800 came today and just set it up and now on charge just messing around with it.

I wondered though, is there a way i can get on the internet using my laptop, e.g a a cable i can get to send the internet connection through my laptop.

Thats only for now though, when im at mums she has full wireless.

If your laptop has wireless then you could try setting up an adhoc wireless network. For Windows you want to turn on 'internet connection sharing': go to the properties page for the wireless network, select the 'advanced' tab and you can then permit users on the wireless network to access the wired wired network.

Hello and welcome to the forum.

In the top part of the page you may see the link Search. You can use that to find threads about USB networking, which could be the answer to your question. There's no need to create a new thread about an existing topic.

Besides.. why the hell would he search for "USB networking" when he has no idea what it is? I wish members here would just stfu and let the moderators take care of moving/merging duplicate posts.
