How to install Linux Dialog Utility Msgbox to run shell scripts
Linux Dialog Utility Msgbox
Hi, what is a name of a package installing graphical Linux Dialog Utility to make shell scripts run in semi-graphical environment (early MS DOS) ? Something like that http://www.cyberciti.biz/nixcraft/li.../ch04sec8.html Darius |

Re: How to install Linux Dialog Utility Msgbox to run shell scripts
Ok. Thanks.
But what I mean is an official port of dialog to Nokia tablet. http://www.gronmayer.com/it/index.ph...&system=maemo4 My query for dialog in the above respositories failed. I need one another application for Nokia tablet, generating basic graphics from shell script (like ruby). I may work as MS Paint but needs to read scripts (Unix shell script). Darius |

I mean official to officially published, published at rep site. BTW Could you kindly tell me how to install unzipped dialog file ? It is not .deb file Darius |

unzip dialog.zip ./dialog or you could copy it to /usr/bin, and just type dialog to run it from anywhere. |

thank you very much for my best New-Year's 2008 gift. It works fine. By telling about MS Paint like application I mean basic graphics application reading shell script and drawing lines, circles and more to develop very basic 2D game, like Ruby does for CADs. Darius |

There's tons of apps out there that would likely do what you want, but those two quickly came to mind. |

Thanks again.
ImageMagick is exactly what I needed. 2D plot. GnuPlot is 3D, to complicated to me to use. Any chance for IM port to Nokia ? Darius |
