Would like 2007HE on the 770 but needs help on some problems!
 

First off, my defult Opera browser is not working. It will show that it is loading, but will automatically close.
Also, I currently have Minimo running as a replacement, but it is very unstable and crashes a lot.
How do I get the 2007HE OS to run on my 770?
And FYI, I'm a noob and don't know much.
I'd really thank you and appreciate anyone's help.

Seems to me you're not running the latest 2007HE, since it comes with preinstalled MicroB. If i'm wrong and you are with the latest - check the .browser file in /home/user directory, there's a line there saying

or

for the different browsers. Change to what you want to run.

0. Make sure the battery is full.

1. Find the the newest Hacker Edition image, as it crashes a lot less (SU-18_2007HACKER_4.2007.46-3_PR_F5_MR0_ARM.bin if I am not mistaken).

2. Get the Windows Wizard (I guess you are running windows, but if you're in Linux, see http://maemo.org/community/wiki/howt...magewithlinux/ ). I got mine from http://europe.nokia.com/A4144790 .

3. Run the wizard, do whatever it says, but when it offers you upgrading to some 2006 newest version, click on something like "select other" and pick the bin file mentionned above.

THANK YOU SO MUCH!! i currently have the os running and it is awesomee. just one question tho, if i wanted to install apps would i treat it as 06 or 07, gregale or bora? i know some (like camera or fm radio) are n800 specific. Once again thank you!!!

You should use the bora repositories. The exception are some chip optimized apps like mplayer and canola. There you need the gregale or if there is a special 2007HE Version.
