Google Reader for the Tablet
http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/18254
Duncan's easy to use greasemonkey script simplifies the google reader experience: -increases the font size for the entries to make them a bit easier to read. -removes whitespace from the top of the page -moves most Google navigation items to pulldown menu Enjoy! |
Re: Google Reader for the Tablet
I've also found this one to be quite handy on both the n810 and on the desktop browser:

Re: Google Reader for the Tablet
[noob]How exactly do you install scripts? I would love to be able to increase the performance of my Google Reader on the N810, but I'm not quite sure what to do with the code thats given to me when I hit the Install Script button : ( [/noob]

Re: Google Reader for the Tablet
Sweet, but one "problem" when the page is viewed with the left hand navigation bar open the scroll bar on the far right hand side for the articles is off the right hand side of the screen (even in full page).

Re: Google Reader for the Tablet
I'll see if I can fix the missing scrollbar, but you should be able to scroll using the cursor pad or the keyboard (j/k/spacebar are the keys I mostly use).

Re: Google Reader for the Tablet
Thanks linuxrebel, I've sorted out the right hand scrollbar, so if you re-download the script it should all work fine now.
The problem was that I tried to use the same style rule for #main and #chrome but setting margin:0 on #chrome is wrong. |
Re: Google Reader for the Tablet
Duncan, I'll get it and then get back to you as soon as I get my "list" built up again. (should have read this forum first!) Thanks.
