Does '.hidden' work in Maemo
Was reading up about renaming directories to begin with a '.' makes them hidden in other distros. I don't have my tablet (being replaced under warranty, WSoD i think, will not be here for at least a week)
Searched but i could not come up with anything here or google. Any reason that should not create a hidden directory or file? TIA |
Re: Does '.hidden' work in Maemo
Yes, the leading . makes a hidden file or directory.
And the -a option of ls shows them. |
Re: Does '.hidden' work in Maemo
'-A' option of ls is better because didn't show '.' and '..' entries ;-)
