Nokia 770 to view music (Score)
 

Hi I'm new to this board.
I'm very interested in the Nokia 770.
One of the things I want to use it for is to view the music sheets (score) on it, while playing with my band.

Has anyone experience with this?
Can someone view this ( http://home.versatel.nl/kasper.veenv...Have_Mercy.pdf ) PDF file on the 770 and take a picture of it?

I don't think the 770 will serve your purpose. Even though the it can display pdf file...it's slow. And even if you display the music sheet as "fit to width" you have to scroll down constantly since it doesn't fit the whole thing. No matter if you have it portrait or landscape it's not going to work very well. Let's just say that the pdf viewer is the worse program on the 770. Until there's a much better one I'd skip it if that is your main purpose for buying a 770. Trust me...it takes 20 to 30 seconds going from one page to the next...quite unacceptable. The display it not too much of a problem as the speed of this program. There's another pdf viewer, but it's not that much better.

I agree, it's too slow to be useful for something like that. Also, the screen is too small for actually playing an instrument and keeping track of the notes.
