xarchive 2.4.6.maemobeta2

description: A port of xarchiver, which is originally an xfce frontend for several compression utilities, like tar, rar, zip or 7z. I did some intergration into the maemo framework yet, thus it supports opening of archive files from the nokia filemanager. The app is developed and tested with os2008/chinook on an n800 device.

Thank you so much! This is great! :D It was killing me to keep having to go back and forth to the command line to uncompress ebooks I wanted to read. Looks like you compiled a version of unrar, too. :)

xarchive 2.4.6.maemobeta3

changes:

- added support to open files received via blootooth.

- fixed tar problems. xarchiver now utilizes gnutar, as the standard os2008 tar seems to be stripped down (no bzip2 & other stuff).

- the deb package depends now on the following packages: bzip2, gnutar, unrar, unzip.

This is great and I do like it very much but is there any way to add support for passworded rars?
