Apps for Cellphone platforms
 

Greetings:

Excuse me for posting this message on a subject that is not part of the Internet Tablet group, but you guys really help out.


I would like to know if someone were to develop an apps for Cellphones what platform is used most often?

I have asked some developers here in Montreal, and they all answered me Symbian, is this true?

Others had stated that apps for cellphone are based on JAVA?

What is the best language a Cellphone Apps should be develop in?

Symbian S60. (check those minor version numbers though!)

I just did a search for Symbian S60, and your right every Nokia known to man runs this platform.
