auto cache? and browser question...
 

every time i set cache on the 770 browser to 4096kb, when i restart the 770 it goes back to "auto cache" :confused: why?

also is it possible to use my 1GB MMC as a buffer for the browser to store temp files?

and last when is the next firmware expected?

Previous firmware version retained the cache setting. It's a shame it doesn't anymore. I have no idea, although, someone should report that as a bug.

i'd like to note that i do have the latest 770 version according to the Nokia site.

i do too and thats the problem. latest version has the bug and previous didn't.

wierd. did 4096k help alot compared to "auto"? ...i wanna put my 1GB to use, but i dunno how, i want it to help in browsing(no i dont care about movies/MP3s/games) ...to be honest i regret getting a 1GB RS-MMC :(

At least for me the 4096 works much better when browsing.
