incompatible application type?
 

ok, so i just got my tablet, and i love it, but sometimes it wont install applications tellimg me ''incompatible application type. ive got an n800 wity itos2008. the apps i was trying yo install were itos2007, i cant realoy see a reason that they dont work.

Unfortunately, they don't work. They were compiled for a different operating system. Try finding the repositories at

There might be quite a few that are showing up only as OS2007 on maemo.org, but have been ported to OS2008 (like aisleriot, which I just found this morning?)

ahh. got it, im used to desktop linux, and compiling apps myself, although debian may be a bbit different than distros ive used.
