[Canola] Podcasts, Vodcasts, Internet media ?
 

Hi,

I am tired of searching everywhere but there are no good sources for nice video podcasts, or vodcasts that can be used in canola or any other apps for N800/N810.

Please post some URLs or weblinks where I can get podcast URLs.
I know there are many but I need to know the ones which work directly on N800 / N810. The only thing known to work so far is CBS' Katie I guess.

I am more interested in content from Europe in english language. Like news, daily talks, technology etc.

Please please please.... :)

I know many people will use it.

If anyone can extract direct links to CNN live video and FOXnews live audio or video, I'd appeciate it. Unlike most ppl, I only have my nokia and little to no access to a regular PC (apps/tools) to perform such tasks.

BBC and NPR also have very large podcast directories, eg http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio/podcasts/directory/station/worldservice/

Hi guys,

The podcast is being really worked out and the bugs on the keyboard also. So expect a lot of improvements. Also we will place in the upcoming updates a set of pre installed podcast radios etc.

Yes... we already have a version but still have some very strange crashes, very strange that comes from nowhere.. we are trying to kill this final bug to be able to release it.

I'm in late on this, but i get my podcasts from the iTunes PodCast Directory. Just Subscribe to the podcast channel, then go to Podcasts in the upper left window, right click on the channel, select Show Description and there you have the feed URL.

Works with Video Centre, not sure about Canola.

We are not supporting in the current version videocast / videopodcast. We want first to put the download manager to a hard try out, and then implement the video. The video player thing is ready, and we actually just need to enable support for video on the download manager, and of course we want to give users the ability to delete the files also like podcast if needed to free space.
