Greasemonkey for Rememberthemilk

1 Attachment(s)
Im a heavy user of rememberthemilk.com, the m.rememberthemilk.com site is a nice mobile version but is made for mobilephone. I did a first version of a greasemonkeyscript that makes it more fingerfriendly for the N800. If anyone is interested in it I add it here. Theres more to be done in it but this version makes it usefull.. :)

to-install
1. download the zip,
2. unzip
3. put on tablet and click on it from the filemanager.

Re: Greasemonkey for Rememberthemilk

Hi miind, I was eager to try this out on my N800 with OS2008 but having extracted it on the N800 using unzip when I click the .js from the file manager it only opens it, it doesn't execute it. I'm going to try chmod +x next, is that going to help or is there something else that needs done?

*EDIT*
Chmod +x did the trick, my other question was does this require the Greasemonkey "engine" to be installed first, I did just to be on the safe side, but it could be useful to other users as well if they haven't installed that yet.

I'd like to try miind's script. I'm not a Linux guy. I suppose chmod is something I type into xterm. Could someone give me the complete command? Do I have to do sudo gainroot or anything first, or just enter it at the first prompt? Thanks!

I only installed greasemonkey first. I think it associate with .js scripts. try install it first and my script later.

miind, you should consider uploading your script to userscripts.org. That way you can update it easily if you need to make changes and it should be installable by just clicking the 'install this script' button (provided people have installed greasemonkey first).
I tag my scripts there as 'maemo' if other people do the same then it should be easy for tablet users to find them.

Good idea, I added the script on userscripts.org here http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/22974 . I tagged it with both n800 and maemo.

Any suggestions on how to enhance it is very welcome. Now I only hope the guy working with google gears for maemo will wake up and let us download his early build! ;)
