... cuz I been busy with my PS3 but now I wanna upgrade to OS2008 and I need a quick update on what else to install with it. I only want to know about the MUST HAVES and don't care about the rest.

If I may speak for debernardis, they are scripts that ennable you to connect usb devices without any power injection or anything of the sort. However, if you use a specially modified cable (search for the N800 host mode experiment thread) you don't need the scriipts; the switching is made automagically.

Thanks convulted - I prefer the soft way, no time to fiddle with solderer and cables.

You can buy these USB adapters... I bought a set from Big Lots for $10. No soldering needed. :)
