gene cash's calendar broken?
 

My n800 suffered the white screen of death.
No problem, thinks I, I have backups!

So I flashed it, and installed the backup, and downloaded my apps.

But Gene's stuff, no work. Doesn't even work after a re-flash and *not* reloading from backup.

I've emailed him, but while waiting for him to get back to me, has anyone had problems with the latest versions of calend, to-do, info-on-tap?

I'm pretty sure that all of Cash's apps are still in a state of alpha/beta/use-at-your-own-risk... If I'm not mistaken, he said that somewhere. That being the case, you might just want to try again sometime.

WSOD is another thing, no backups can help you after a WSOD (hehe, had twice on my 770)
In any case, I am currently using Gene Cash's apps without problems. Be sure to have installed python2.5, the 2.4 version won't work

Problem solved. PEBKAC (problem exists between keyboard and chair)

I installed python 2.5 and *thought* I had installed python runtime.

Ahem.

Working fine now!
