gnokii bluetooth program
 

i downloaded this program to my n800,
but it does nothing by itself...

i read articles that it may allow the n800 to be used
as a handsfree bt device.

i read other articles that said it will provide enhanced connection capabilities with my nokia phone...

but so far...it does not actually do anything....
it does not even show up in any of my program folders.

is there any instant gratification that i can
get from gnokii? how?

It's a command line program that must be run under xterm. It would be nice if someone ginned up a GUI interface for it.

From looking at the screenshots it looks like there's an X frontend, xgnokii:

It's probably not too difficult to compile.

There's also PhoneLink, which uses libgnokii:

I don't have a cellphone, or service, otherwise I'd try them all out.
