Missing python parts ?
 

Hi,

I'm learning to develop on the IT (and i'm learning Python at the same time).

It seems some packages (or some API in some packages) are missing:

• python-abook : i can't find any package, and existing packages does not provide with this API. Someone told me (on #maemo) that it would be released just after the repository problem has been solved
• hildon.Grid (other widgets in hildon package works well)
• osso.Mime

According to this documentation, they should work.

Any idea why i can't find them (mistake i'm doing, python for os2008 not finished yet, deprecated APIs ....)

i don't know about the first two, but osso.Mime is deprecated. it will eventually be replaced by hildonmime. (see the c header of the same name in /usr/include)
