Silicon Keyboard

Since no option exists to convert a USB keyboard to a bluetooth via an adapter, if I buy a silicon keyboard that is USB, get a USB/miniUSB adapter and plug it into my N800, will it recognize the keyboard? I want to get a silicon keyboard due to my line of work and this seems like the best option. Any advice?

Yes. You will need mini_USB_host-USB adapter and with it keyboard will be ok.
If you want and have hands :) you can change ended connector to mini-USB with shorted 4 and 5 pin

Don't buy silicon keyboard. I've tried one and it's very uncomfortable. You have to press the buttons very hard, it's not a pleasure to use it...

Agreed on the hard tapping, but it's bloomingly convenient if you have a pc in your kitchen (e.g. teriyaki sauce comes off very easily from a silicon keyboard).

Actually, the pc is just an old tablet (Fujitsu, not Nokia) hanging on the wall, but you get the idea.

Thanks for the comments...much appreciated. I do agree that the silicon keyboard does require some extra effort to type on but as there are constantly people eating around my workstation and during group meetings etc., the last thing I want is someone spilling something all over my keyboard. They are also convenient in the travel department as all you have to do is roll them up and go. A laptop has just become too burdensome and therefore my N800 is going to be my primary means of "all that is web." I may still go with the Thinkoutside bluetooth option for the keyboard as it folds up nicely, but who knows.
