He asked about the 6000w, which does have built-in wifi and bluetooth.

But, good friggin' luck finding a 6000, much less one with bluetooth.

z v 770

far as I know the the 6000 w never made it here and I don't know if it is still made. but u can try
http://chaseandcompany.net/store/ind...index&cPath=38

or www.pricejapan.com. Note you will get a japanese menu. You can get converted and warantied newer Zs (no wireless) from dynamism.com.
I know the 6000w exists on paper but I have never heard of anyone owning one.

I had a 6000L (wifi, but no bluetooth) for about a year, and I prefer my 770.

Specific pros and cons between them;

6k con:
- The 6000's are too big to carry in even a cargo pocket comfortably.
- No graphic accelerator drivers. The other Zaurus models frequently outperform the 6k series visually (video playback, games) because of this.

6k pro:
- The 6000 has a nice thumb board.
- CF slot.

The 6k has more software right now, but development is slow and sporadic. I predict the number of apps for the 770 to outnumber the apps for the 6k in the near future.

There are a number of custom "ROMs" for the various Zaurus models, but they're all deficient in one area or another. This makes the number of "available apps" a much larger number than is realistically practical or useful. I wrote a rather lengthy post some time ago when I first got my 770, so if you're really interested, look it up.

The number of Zaurus models and technical details that make things run differently or not at all has Zaurus development seriously fragmented.

Thank you, Sir Varis, hopefully you will create me a forum for Sharp Zaurus SL6000. Thanks.

IMHO, I felt that this was a general forum ( for Internet Tablet.) Perhaps Nokia 770 is the only Internet Tablet(simply because Nokia calls it Internet Tablet ? ) or maybe you dont know about other Internet Tablets available.

Even a " member " like ' Supergeek ' could reply to my simple question while you felt that this was not the proper forum to talk about Zaurus.

Sorry you.

Ohh and pray tell, what stops you from moving this post to wherever you want to move it to ? why ask somebody else to do it ?

Sharp: "..starting at $749"
i am not from Nokia, but everybody hesitating:
waste no more mins. go and get your 770 today.

btw. is there a tool to make apps using the internal mic of the 770?
want to port some things from mrn.profitux.cz
;)

Woah, don't get worked up. All I think Varis meant (not to put words in his mouth), is that the site admin may have to move this to the "competitors" section of the forum.
