How do you install the files that winmapper downloads? I am using maemo mapper 2 and don't know how to install the image files it makes.:confused: Used search function and found other questions like this but never found an answer. help??:confused:

Winmapper stores the map tiles in MM1.x format, which is not compatible with MM2.x that you're using.

I've done a tool that can convert it into MM2.x gdbm database. You can use that:

sorry to bring up an old thread, but rather than start a new one I figured this was best. I'm using winmapper to try and get around my downloading directly in Maemo Mapper problems.

I using kml files, saved from Google earth. I've selected a small area (for testing), and windmapper just seems to create a bunch of totaly empty folders. I've tried thsi for a few different areas...

Is there a solution for this? Am I missing something obvious?
