Yup, Starbucks is apparently dropping T-Mobile and it's awful expensive wifi for something with AT&T (and iTunes/Apple Store).

Not only will the cost drop but if you have a Starbucks card and buy something with it you will get two hours of free wifi access. I think this is a big plus for NIT users for sure.

I actually go to SB's a lot to get away from my home office and work. I just buy regular coffee and maybe a bottle of Tazo Peach or something...but I was using our pretty weak Muni Wifi and now use EVDO for web access. But getting a couple hours free of high speed wifi is sorta nice...and easier then digging out the mobile router when I want to just take the NIT or both of us are there. Of course this means my better half will have to pay using her SB card so we both get 2hrs of wifi that day... :)
