Maeomo Wordpy

This program has a serious flaw on 2008. I have multiple accounts and although it claims that one is enabled it will only access the first one I set up. Even when I deleted the one it was trying to access it still went and connected to it. Luckily I checked the "delete post" button and saw it was on the wrong blog and took the post down. Nice app. Someone needs to fix this problem, which, by the way, persists across relaunches of the app.

Hi, I am the developer.
Please, could you copy the config file content here? I don't want personal data as passwords, username, etc. :) only the content and specially the enabled property.
To access to it, open the terminal application, and run
Code:

cat /home/user/.maemowordpy/accounts.conf
And then could you delete that file with
Code:

rm /home/user/.maemowordpy/accounts.conf
and try to reproduce the bug?

Thanks.

Re: Maeomo Wordpy

Hi. Thanks for responding. Before I saw this I deleted the acccount.conf file and tried again. What happens is that when maemowordpy attempts to connect to get the blog data it grabs the "primary" account (which I think is the last account on blogger that you've posted to. So even though the account was recreated it still pulled from the "wrong" blog.

If you still want my config file I'll post it.

Re: Maeomo Wordpy

I've confirmed that MWP takes blogger's last posted blog as the account it connects too. I just posted a test post on the blog I wanted to post to and then connected to the blog and it appeared. Then I posted to the other blog and MWP, which had no account info for this blog, pulled up the articles. So it is definitely a bug in how accounts are handled.

Oh and I appreciate your app.

Re: Maeomo Wordpy

So, have you two blogger blogs with the same Google ID? If so, I am aware of this bug, but I thought it only used the first created blog. I will release a revision with it fixed soon.

If it's with diferent Google ID, I will have to investigate it.

Thanks.

Re: Maeomo Wordpy

well since you ask..... ;-)

i'd like to be able to have both blogs 'active' and have a choice at posting time, or post creation to determine which blog I want to post to rather than going to the preferences to activate on or the other.

Daniel,
Just a quick thanks for this app. My wife is in the hospital and I'm using a blog to keep friends all over the world notified of her progress. With my tablet, the hospitals wifi and maemoWordpy this is a very covenient task. Thanks.
