FBReader broken after reinstall
 

I installed FBReader a few days ago, then removed it after several futile hour trying to find books. Then I found a copy of clit here on the forums and decided to reinstall FBReader to try again.

After the reinstall, the icon is just the 4 squares like the application launcher, and I get the message "FBReader - loading" followed by nothing.

I tried re-booting, and that fixed the icon but the program still won't load. I was in Red Pill mode when I reinstalled it, so I uninstalled, switched to blue pill and installed again, with the same result.

There is another thread in this forum about FBReader segfaulting, but I don't see any error messages to help. I did try the link to install a previous version, but that page gives a 404 error.

Help would be appreciated, please.
