Kagu and A2DP

On the maemo site it says that Kagu has support for A2DP. Is this correct? How is that? Will my Motorola S9 bluetooth headphones work correctly with this program? Hmmm... I thought A2DP was a hardware thing. Can anyone clear this up? I hear there is a hack to add A2DP support, but at the expense of your processor and battery, if that's the case then never mind.

If you are running OS2008, that is the case, sorry. Hopefully with the next OS update, they will add A2DP support. So the question now is, when will the next update be released?

Until then, I've been using my $20 (plus shipping) mp3 player Bluetooth dongle, which works fine with all the N800 (and other) media players. See other thread in this forum with details, if you're interested.
