Cannot delete cache in browser (OS2008)
Hello,
A newbie question here... I guess... I made a typo while accessing one web page and the page that actually loaded was full of some aggressive ads and pop-ups. As a security precaution I decided to clear Private Data in the browser. Everything seemed to clear OK, except cache. It gives message: Some cache items are in use and cannot be deleted. 1. Is it common that cache cannot be deleted? I never tried it before so I don't know it should fully clear or not...? 2. Do I have some spyware/adware in the memory (cache) and I am stuck with it forever...? (Are there any anti-spyware/anti-virus programs for N800 by the way?) 3. How do I clear this cache then...? Maybe somehow from terminal...? No...? I have N800 on OS2008. I tried powering off, I tried disabling the cache in the browser, and yet it still cannot be deleted! I tried to do this on about:blank page (thinking that my home page is caching something). Nope. No luck... Please help, /cp7 |
