rdesk1.5.0 running from xterm but want icon
Hello all,
just received a hand me down n800 and have installed rdesktop 1.5.0 which runs from the xterm. The 0.40 version would not run on my upgraded to os2008 unit. The 1.5.0 version works fine but I need to start an xterm and keypad a long string into it every time. So the question, can I create an icon to click with the string inside it? Does it need to be something like #! /bin/ash rdesk -u administrator -p mypassword 172.17.2.22 Thanks e |
Re: rdesk1.5.0 running from xterm but want icon
If everything stays the same, yes (if ip doesnt change)
Couple of ways to do it but you dont need a script just install this : http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=11093 Be sure to run LinkMakerAllowed as root in xterm before running linkmaker then just follow directions in link above. |

I use osso-statusbar-cpu for this. You can easily program and run commands from status bar app.
