brain type games

I've been playing around these days with "Big Brain Academy", a game on a Nintendo DS I found in the park (that's another story :) ) - and it really is fun

I've been thinking that these sort of games are perfect for the N7** & N8** systems - so I have a few questions:
- are there any similar linux games ?
- is there anyone interested in such a game ?
- (personal question) how much would anyone pay for such a game ? I'm not asking for money - I'm already pretty well payed and I'd rather do it for the fun - but I always wondered if it would be worth it to do small devs instead of corporate programming

Thanks and regards :D

EDIT damn grammar ;)

Personally, I'd love to be able to play braingames on my N800, and I'd rather pay an individual programmer than Nintendo any day. I'm not aware of any linux-based competition at present....

Try Simon Tatham's Portable Puzzle Collection.

I got sgt-puzzles. They're not like the brain games, but there are definitely some challenging games in the bunch.
