Control a remote Windows/Mac PC with logmein.com
This service seems to work fine with the N800 and OS2008. The free version doesn't allow file sharing, so it's not clear to me just what you can accomplish with it. When I tried to open an encrypted file on the desktop I couldn't figure out how to enter the password in the dialog box that popped up. Anyway, it's free and may be fun to play with. They give you 30 days to use the pro version, then you have to choose whether you want to pay for it or revert to the free version.
See my msg below for how to get a virtual keyboard under XP or Vista. |

It worked for me too. I had been under the impression that to log into a computer required a browser plug in but it didn't. Thanks for the tip.

Re: Control a remote Win/Mac PC with logmein.com
I remember now some advice I was given earlier. There is a virtual keyboard for Win XP, and Vista.
Go to Start - All Programs - Accessories - Accessibility - On Screen Keyboard. In Vista it's Accessories - Ease of Access |
