nicotine issues
 

been running nnicotine for about 3 weeks. everything was going fine then it crashed i presume because i had too many heavy searches going. ever since then i have been unable to reconnect to the server. i have the greyed out connect and disconnect as if i havent selected a shares folder.

i have since removed and reinstalled. im now begining to wonder if my password is wrong - does anyone know of a certain way to check username and password, i have managed to log in on my laptops slsk but that appears to login usuing any string i chose to put as a username.

i was using portforwarding but did not set up a astatic ip for my n810 .

when i load nictoine for terminal there are no error messages either. cant work out the problem, anyone have any ideas? nicotine is a top notch programme

Perhaps, the config was corrupted with the crash. Try deleting the config directory from the terminal:
