I would like to know if i can use my skype with the camera from my n800.

Skype on the Internet tablets does not have video support.

No...that is not available yet. To get the full discussion, you might want to do a search on the forums. Posters seem split as to if/when skype will support video and if it is Nokia's fault.

Skype just released a beta version for linux that includes video...hopefully the N800 version will come later.

Probably not very soon. The question, why Skype doesn't support video calls on the n8x while video calls with Gizmo, SIP... are working just fine has been discussed several times at the official Skype forums. The usual reply from the Skype support staff to this is, that Skype is using a more advanced video codec (read: CPU hog) which won't work on the tablets.

Currently your video calling options are Gizmo (beta 4) for tablet-PC and tablet-tablet video calls, and Google Talk for tablet-tablet video calls (surprisingly Google Talk doesn't support video on PCs).

@ chilessj -- never thought i'd say this, but please use the search, that's what it's there for. I just punched in Skype webcam and several threads that would have answered your question came up in under 30 seconds. We really do not need to statr rehashing this same topic over and over again as we have enough dead horses and happy floggers here already.
