any suggestions for faulty IT
 

my n800 has spent the last 3 hours switching itself on, getting as far as saying NOKIA then resetting itself. not the first time this has happened, but the longest and it's only been doing it recently. is it a fault or is there something i can do? i assume it's just a fault but thought id give it a go... it crashed during a video when i tried to switch off full-screen and it's been at this since then

Something you did screwed up your install, so the device is stuck in a reboot loop.

Reflash it.

well rubbish. if it does happen to turn back on as it has before (although my hopes aren't high) is there something i should do to avoid it in future?
