GeCube shows a cheap Linux tablet
All (aldo not to extensive) information can be found on the Inq.

Re: GeCube shows a cheap Linux tablet
Cool; should work for a lot of people who would like the IT to run OOo. Pay $230 and find out what a bloated beast on a low-spec machine feels like.
It really would be nice for a lot of things, but I can't help but focus on the possibility that some youtube videos of it could squelch the pleas for OOo porting. |

Yeah, give it a touch screen with virtual-translucent-split-thumb-keyboard* when not attached to the physical keyboard, ubuntu (regular or mobile), and a dual-speed CPU (fast when docked, slow when not), and I'd consider it.
(* I need to come up with a standard abbreviation for this, since I reference it so often.. vtst-keyboard maybe?) |
