Pidgin auto-away
 

In pidgin after a certain time sets my status to away and i can't find any option to turn this off.

the GUI is a bit buggy (or rather, un-intuitive), but the option is there.

(Menu)->Tools->Preferences

Notice the tab-style interface at the top and the arrow on the right side? click on the arrow until the active tab moves PAST the "Network" tab... there are three more tabs hidden that way, including a "Status/Idle" tab. It confused me, too, at first, how the arrow worked (I expected it to immediately show the hidden items instead of just moving the "active" item, requiring multiple taps until the "active" item went into the group of "hidden" items).

Ok thanks for that i knew what the arrow did i guess i just didn't go far enough :/
