Need Help with a question about SD card option
 

I posted this in the newbie section as well, but figured I'd go directly to the Nokia N810 section

Okay, I'm totally confused on which kind of SD card I need. Everywhere it says it can hold up to 8gb as long as its 8gb sdhc. Correct me if I'm wrong, but the device has 1 miniSD slot? How does one get the device to hold 8gb of storage? Be gentle, I'm new to all this....and thanks in advance!!! Do i need a regular 8gb SDHC card and have an adapter that goes from SD to miniSD to fit the NOKIA N810? And there is just 1 slot, right? People at Nokia are telling me the N810 has 2 slots...and everywhere I've read, there is only 1) And then they told me you can put a micro card directly into the slot. I'm so confused!!!

It sounds like you don't have one yet. Have a look at the video on the home page of this forum.
The n810 has 2g built in and has one mini sd slot. Mini SD SDHC cards come in a variety of sizes. If you selected 8g then you would have a total of 10g.
The n800 has two full sized SD slots.

Hi there, I have a quick question regarding the cards.
With the N810 are you suppose to use only Mini SD SDHC cards or you can use a regular SDHC cars like for example :A-DATA 16GB SDHC .class 6?

Regular SDHC card won't fit, too big. I believe you can get a micro card and an adapter to fit the mini slot; or just a mini card; but not a regular-sized SD card (the SDHC is just a high-capacity SD card, same size as an SD card).

The largest Mini SD/SDHC card available is 4GB. Micro SD/SDHC currently maxes out at 8GB, but SanDisk has announced the release of a 16GB Micro SDHC card, to be available for purchase within a few months.
