Hi,

I'm having fun again with OS2007HE. My task switch button does not display a list of tasks any more, it just switches directly to the maemo desktop, and the power button resets the device on the first press! All works as usual on OS2008HE so it looks like some corruption somewhere ...
All of the other buttons work fine, just the task switch and power buttons which are playing up.

I'm just about to re-flash and compare the gconf data to see what is different in the hope that I can find something in there.

/etc/gconf/gconf.xml.defaults/system/osso/af/keybindings/%gconf.xml

And see if there is anything different.
Anyone else seen this before? Any ideas what else to look at?

Fixed it.
Bug caused by the most recent Mauku 0.4 installer as far as I can tell.

I diff'd and found the following in /etc/mce

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 4209 2007-08-13 21:39 mce.ini.premauku

-rw-r--r-- 1 root root    0 2008-02-26 22:32 mce.ini

I'm not sure why mauku needs to modify this file but at least it is polite enough to back up the original file. Restoring it resolves my issue.
