Re: Pypackager creates bad deb file.
I have had very good luck with pypacker. Perhaps you could give a bit more info as to the error you receive when trying to install the deb created by pypacker. Or if there is no error, what does get installed (and where).

Re: Pypackager creates bad deb file.
well after building all it says is "Unable to install Fceu Frontend"
i have tried several things but i still have no idea why it doesn't work. |
Re: Pypackager creates bad deb file.
Building an installer takes a lot of patience, but works perfectly fine with PyPackager.
Please check out my wiki/tutorial article that explains in detail what is needed and how it's done, using my mClock python application as the example. |

If so, perhaps, change the file name so there is an underscore instead of a space (like "fceu_frontend"). I hope this helps, Craig... |
Re: Pypackager creates bad deb file.
Hi,
I'm the developper of PyPackager ... have you still not successfull build your package ? try to install it with the command dpkg -i (logged as root) and say us what is the resulting error. So we could help you. |
