My first port so leave me alone if this sucks balls :p. Also note, I have no C++ skills (thanks KotCzarny, lcuk & jott :D) Untar bin archive to / I made these changes to source:

If you want to play in fullscreen mode immediatly, add "SDL_WM_ToggleFullScreen(surface);" in src/screen.cpp at line 46 (after "surface = ..."). To play faster, you can play with lines 68 and 57 in src/player.cpp and lines 151 and 160 in src/alien.cpp to change moving speed. Else, without making the game less "fluid", you can change line 35 in src/player.cpp and line 184 in src/alien.cpp. |

I LIKE IT! Looks and feels very true to original. Ship weapon is a bit too fast, making it too easy to clear a column of aliens. Ship speed is about right.
No 'death' animation. No sounds. Mrrh. But it's somehow fun. |
