Help with Linux?

Anyone here know why I cannot copy any files to my USB Flash Drive (not the 770)? It gives me an error saying it couldnt copy/move the files. This happens with all my flash drives. I'm using a Knoppix LiveDVD by the way. Thanks.

You need to remount them as read write. Knoppix mounts everything as read only when you run it from the disk. This includes the USB based devices. It's supposed to be a security feature so you don’t have to worry about over-writing data accidentally and causing things to stop working.
