IP Addressing
Anyone know how to change the IP address? I'm a long time 770 user but can't for the life of me figure it out. I think I have a conflict with a gaming adapter ethernet bridge and the two devices want to use the same IP address. I'd like to try forcing the 770 to use something different.

Re: IP Addressing
In the admin section of your router, you should be able to assign a "default" IP from within the DHCP pool, based on the ITs MAC address.

Re: IP Addressing
I don't see where to do that. Problem is I'm with Verizon and they have a proprietory router and them being a bunch of losers the support is non-existant. Anyway thanks for your help. It's weird because if I run the gaming adapter first then I can get on the network with the IT no problem, but not the other way around. The gaming adapter has a static IP address nowhere near the IT's usual DHCP address.

Re: IP Addressing
Edit the connection manually and in the advanced section, set your prefered ip, router ip & dns.

Re: IP Addressing
Thanks for your help -- that was well hidden. I have manually set the IP address etc., but am still getting radio problems. The radio doesn't find any WAN connections on turn-on, including neighbors. I have to run my gaming adapter/Slingbox and then the 770 will sniff the WANs. It will fail to connect the first couple of searches. This seems like a radio interference issue? It only happens at home. I have made sure my Wi-Fi channel is not conflicting with any of the neighbors channels. This all started happening the day the US clocks went forward. The 770's time changed forward which surprised me. Anyway HELP! I love my 770 and miss it in bed in the mornings. I'm defaulting to my non-html Treo and it's not the same.
