[KDE] KDE Clock conflict
So I adjusted the KDE clock & timezone settings for correct display. However, looks like this causes a conflict with the built-in Hildon clock app, which now displays UTC instead of my local time, and crashes with an internal error if you try to change the time or go to the alarms display. I guess you need to be sure you want to go to KDE!
Later: I had to go into a terminal window and do a tzconfig and then date. This straightened out whatever was causing the built-in clock to choke, and KDE is happy enough too, displaying the correct time. I haven't confirmed this, but I think the Hildon clock app wants to display the hardware clock, not the system software clock |
All times are GMT. The time now is 12:02. |
