Emperor of the Fading Suns
 

This is probably my favorite game of all time and its pretty much cult status.

Does there exist a linux port of this? I wouldn't be surprised if that is the case since i've seen other games like Panzer General have a fan made version.

If not is there any way to get this game working on the n800 with wine or anything? Thats what I use on my linux box.

If a project doesn't exist to "recreate" this game like what was done with Star Control 2 or Panzer General someone should get the idea to do that. Its probably one of the best games ever made. It is abandonware so its freely available and its not a very intensive game, its Windows based unfortunately otherwise i would just dosbox it.

This Game was written for Microsoft Windows. The Nokia Internet tablets run an operating system called Linux.

You may with to contact SegaSoft to ask them to release source code for the game.

Regarding 'wine'. Please use the 'search' function (go to advanced search and search for 'wine' in post titles only). Do not discuss wine here.

There are people chatting about an open-source re-make but there is no product yet.
