mYTube 0.1.2 - available
 

Hi,

the first beta version of mYTube is ready now.

you can get it from here:

whats new (quite a lot):
- today/week/moth/
- related/author/category
- details for each video
- same UI polish

todo:
- retructure code
- optimize some gtk animations :(
- update the garage site once maemo.org is back up

Post some reviews/bugs .. etc etc

PS: mplayer rc2 works like a charm, hopefully it will make it to extras repository, till then you might want to take a look here http://www.internettablettalk.com/fo...ad.php?t=18231

EDIT: there is a bug, navigation back does not work. fixing this later, have fun with the other features [FIXED in 0.1.1]

Ehe that's true. But this app has brought me a big problem: now my girlfriend won't give my prrrecious back... :D

Huh? The iPhone has a built in youtube application (only way to watch youtube videos since there isn't any flash support). Granted its usability and features aren't as nice as mYTube.

Ooh, I haven't used mytube since it was 0.0.4. The new icons make it look a lot better. New features are a nice bonus too.

The previous button doesn't work for me, though.

I start downloading lots of youtube to my NIT now . I downloaded lot of Steve Jobs' speech video onto NIT instead of IPOD TOUCH . I just got the IPOD touch 3 days ago , while had fun with youtube application on it . Now , the new IPOD TOUCH stayed in my home silently . There's too less software you can play around . Even the video and audio plays better on IPOD touch , but it's bad feeling for me to convert all kinds of music and movie into IPOD format .

Wow!!! I'm genuinely impressed!!!

Having the same issue with the "previous" button though, other than that, I have no complaints. I've recently been using the Youtube plug-in for Canola, but this definitely trumps any other youtube project.

Can you give us the option to select colors for background(I liked the black background on previous versions) also how do we remove the timer from the video window. dan
