[New game] Color Lines - OS2008/2007/2006
 

Hi All! I have just released my wife's favorite game: Color Lines. It is written from scratch specially for maemo, but can be compiled and played in Linux (Unixes) too. It uses: SDL, SDL_image, SDL_mixer.

Features:
- sound & music
- autosave/autoload
- 4 kind of bonuses
- colorful graphics

Since it is first release it can have some bugs, but it is playable right now. Test it please... Thanx...

P.S. I was not able to attach screenshot. size always exceed 19kb png limit for attachments on this forum... Sorry... :(

UPD: Dirty jpg attached. This screenshots taken from MacOS version and looks a little differ than n800 version... Anyway - jpg is very ugly, do not look on it. :)
Realy, i think it is good idea to raise limit on png attachments.

Post the screenie as a jpg; no size limit. Degradation is better than nothing. ;)

Wow!! Very nice port of this game :D I used to play this all the time on my Palm TX. Graphics are beautiful!

Only one big question... how do I turn off the sound for when I get 5 in a row? Tapping on the music note only turns off the background music.

Now, you can not disable sounds in game (it is supposed, that you can disable it using OS volume applet). Music note really disables music only. But, if this feature is needed, i will include it in next release.

BTW, you can just remove all sounds in /usr/share/lines/sounds to disable them at ALL and save some device memory.

I have made another attempt... Now jpg (RESIZED!!!) limit is exceeded. Really sorry... Can't do this anymore.

BTW: great build. this is a very cool game. I'm still trying to figure out the special balls, the paint doesn't act like I thought it would.

I don't usually keep games other than aisleriot, but this one runs and looks/sounds fantastic... it's a keeper, thanks! :)

Try version 0.2, it has a volume control. I did not test it well.., but looks like it works....
