[Canola] adding podcasts trouble.

I don't know if I'm suffering from too many podcasts in my db. (about 15) or db corruption.

But I can't seem to add any valid podcasts. When I put the url in it start the process of "acquiring name" and get stuck there for ever! I've waited up to 2 hours during this process...

What gives?

Nuke :

We can only help you if you send us the log information. just describing your error is not enough for us to predict / tell what happened.

Please, run canola with -vvv on xterm, and go there add a podcast. If it fails it will show a message there that can really help us helping you

Do you have a proxy server on your network?

One thing I've noticed is that Canola appears to ignore the proxy settings for the network connection. From home (no proxy) I have no problem accessing Internet content through Canola, but on my work connection (where outbound access is blocked unless you go via a proxy server) Canola never manages to connect to anything.

This isn't the same issue you are having rs_nuke but try this out and see if it'll work for you at least until you can send a bug report to the Canola team can see what your exact issue is.

Re: adding podcasts trouble.

Please try running 'canola -vvv' (as user) to see if an exception is thrown

Thanks
