Canola will not find my video files. Please help
 

I have installed Canola2 on my N810 and it will find my audio files perfectly fine. The youtube feature is great as well. However, it will not find any of the video files in on my miniSD. What am I doing wrong guys? The video files are currently MP4 if that helps. Thank you in advance.

as you did not state what you have tried I can only guess it might be as easy as start Canola, clicking on the following - settings, then media library, then media folders, then video folders and see if the card were you have the video is checked...if that does not work then delete the database...called canola.db...it is located at - /home/user/.canola

then make sure the media (were you have the video) as outlined above is checked...IMHO, all files would show up just might not work if the above was followed...which is a different issue...how was it made/copied kinds of things...yet I always get them to show up now...yes, I too had the could not find problem the first time I used Canola...

I have tried finding the files from the settings within conola. That is how I uploaded the music.
I am afraid to even go in to the terminal. I don't want a $400.00 paper weight. I would really appreciate a detail explanation of what you would have me do but if you do not feel like writing all of it I understand. Thanks for the tips.

Go to settings in Canola > Media Library > Media Folders > Video Folders and make sure all the cards have checkmarks, tap OK, go to Refresh All, tap it.

Oops! I see I forgot the last step...as pointed out

go to Refresh All, tap it.

if after you have done this and still not working -
