i'm getting a replacement N800 soon.
this time, its gonna be A.D.A.P. (as durable as possible) yes.

should i go for a leather or silicon jacket? i'm thinking more silicon because my Creative ZVM has one and its very durable and easy to clean.

and, can someone refer me to a thick hard plastic screen cover for which i can still use the touchscreen and stylus?

oh and does anybody have any ideas on how to reduce play on the battery cover (u know how its sorta loose and it makes a lot of noise when vibrating?).

maybe put some tape on the inside? or maybe one of those rubber "feet" things for furniture to keep it from sliding?
