Multiple Saved Usernames/Passwords in Microb

I sincerely hope this hasn't already been answered, but if so, I could not find it to save my life.

However, it seems like it would've been addressed at some point, unless I'm the only person with more than one username/password for the same account (I have both a school and work email account that for the moment I check through the browser).

So, in OS2007 when you had more than one set, a little "Select User Name" dialog would pop up and you'd pick which one, and it would log that one in.

Now, in microb in OS2008, the same box pops up, but when you select one nothing happens. Now, if you type either username into the field, it will fill in the password (just like desktop Firefox), but so far as I can tell, the select user name dialog is rendered totally useless. It's by no means a terrible problem, but its pretty annoying.

Has anyone else noticed this? Is there a stupid obvious fix for it?

Again, if this has already been addressed, I'm sorry. And if it's news to everyone else, I'm sorry not to have brought it up sooner. I've been aware of it for quite a while, I just haven't gotten around to posting about it.

I just recently ran into this problem. But it wasn't always the case.

When I first got my N800 I upgraded the OS and everything and it was working fine. I have multiple GMAIL accounts and for several months now the dialog box with the selection of all my accounts would pop the same would happen on MySpace where I also have multiple accounts (personal, band, etc)

Well first, the dialog stopped popping up on MySpace and now I have to write in the email and password every time, but at Gmail I have the same issue as you. The dialog box pops up I select the account but nothing happens, after typing in the username the password shows up.

Has anyone fixed this? I also need help!

Odd I have the exact same problem. It was working fine with 4 logins and now just recently it no longer works.

Would this be something Nokia would fix? What is the warranty on these things?

It's not a defect, it's software.

But it's certainly annoying. I'm going to start using an email client, which will get around the problem in my case. It's not a fix, though.

Why would using an email client fix this? I don't get it.

Ouch. Is this in OS2008 only? I'm still using Opera and OS2007, and I totally depend on this functionality (I've got multiple accounts on e.g. gmail that I visit in a round-robin fashion).

Yup. OS2008 and MicroB. I've been trying to uninstall and re-install it but I haven't been able to. Is it even possible to uninstall MicroB?

Using an email client works around it because it's multiple email accounts that are the source of the trouble.

As far as removing microb, I imagine it's possible but would almost certainly be more trouble than it's worth. And there definitely isn't a version of the old browser that'll work with OS2008.

Well, I've gone as far as reflashing OS2008 and that still did not fix the problems. I did lose all my apps, bookmarks and images in the process, one thing I will definitely not do again.

So a fresh install of OS2008 will not fix this, what will?
