x term or leafpad
 

okay im new to linux and thats only because i bought the n770. i am planning to try some of the hacks and mods and the first one im going to try is the 2d scroll. what would you recommend to use for editing the opera ini file.

leafpad is easier if you haven't used linux before. The only bad thing is that you have to write the path manually. Opera is a hidden folder and is not thus listed in the file chooser dialog.

yeah, im just learned that yesterday. i kind of use both while i was learning, x term to find and copy to the mmc and then leafpad to edit. leafpad would be great if they had an option to view hidden files.
